No Zero Roulette Offers No House Edge

No Zero Roulette was designed to bring in more players by decreasing the house edge. American Roulette has 38 numbers to choose from, including 0 and 00, and has a house edge of 5.26%. European Roulette has 37 numbers to choose from, with 0 but no 00, and has a house edge of 2.7%. No Zero Roulette provides true player odds with a 0% house edge. It isn’t available at most land-based casinos but can be found online.

Betfair’s Zero Lounge started in 2006 and offers No Zero Roulette. The lounge acts as a means of attracting more customers with zero edge on games like poker, blackjack and the betting exchange. There is no need for En Prison or Le Partage here. No Zero Roulette is the best offer for players. Land-based casinos rely on the house edge to operate so it’s not offered. On even chance bets like red/black or odd/even, you are guaranteed to break even in the long run. Betfair can still profit off it because your bankroll can run out before you are able to break even or make a profit. Let’s say, we bet on head and tails for a coin flip. If I have $100 in my pocket and you only have $10, you could go on a losing streak and go bankrupt. Therefore, I would take your $10. But, if you have a large bankroll and place only small bets, you should theoretically be able to play forever with no negative impact overall.

Unfortunately, Betfair is closed off to U.S. players. Perhaps, eventually casinos that allow American players will follow Betfair’s lead with No Zero Roulette.
