If you are new to the game of roulette, you might need some help finding places to play and finding information on the game. If you’re here, that’s a good start. If you are looking for tips on how to play the game, in addition to reading our guides here on this website, I also recommend checking out some roulette videos on http://www.youtube.com/. Youtube is a surprisingly good research for tips and strategy because you can actually watch the game be played instead of simply reading about it.
Roulette isn’t a skilled game, so you will learn the strategy pretty quickly. It is a game of chance, with your only strategy deciding what to bet on. Generally speaking, you can choose a high risk-high reward bet or a low risk-low reward bet, though there are variations within each.
Once you have figured out how to play roulette, you need to find out where to play. Keep in mind that European roulette has better odds than American roulette, so you want to find a wheel that does not have that double zero. You can find the best Euro casino online by reading up on the various casinos that are licensed and regulated by trusted agencies. Read customer feedback and make sure they use trusted software. After all, there are a lot of online casinos that carry roulette games, but it won’t be worth your time if the game is unsafe or unfair. You should only play at the best and safest sites on the Web.

The United States is strapped for cash. The federal government, along with most states, is spending much more money than it is taking in, wasting money and sinking further and further into debt. You don’t have to be an economist to know that. News about America’s dire financial situation is all over www.foxnews.com. The question is what should be done about it.
It’s obvious that spending cuts need to be made, but what about new revenue? Some politicians want to raise taxes, but history (and most economists) says that raising taxes in a bad economy is very dangerous and could plunge the country into another recession. So how do you increase revenue without raising taxes? One way that some politicians have proposed is by regulating online gambling.
Currently online gambling is a thriving market in the United States, but all of the business is done with overseas casinos. Domestic companies don’t make any money and the government does not bring in the tax revenue. If the federal government regulated the industry, they could tax it and also make money from licensing fees. They could also oversee the industry to make sure it is safe for players.
Some feel that federal regulation would be an economic burden, though. Owners of tribal casinos are worried that they will lose business is residents can simply gamble online instead of having to head to their casino. Some state lawmakers are also worried that individual states could suffer. Most U.S. states operate some form of gambling business, from a state lottery to pari-mutuel gambling to casinos. There is a concern that the ability to easily and legally gamble online would hurt the state gambling businesses. For that reason, some states have come out against federal regulation. Do you think it would be a good idea?

Online roulette is a game of chance, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t things you can do to influence how much money you win or lose. You should know the odds of the different bets before playing any game, and roulette is no different. Here is some Internet casino advice for roulette players.
First of all, you should note that the game is random. You cannot predict the outcome of the spins. There are websites out there selling tricks or software that helps you track and predict the roulette wheel, but they don’t work. There are no biased wheels online and tacking doesn’t work. The random number generator ensures that all spins are random and independent of each other.
The best piece of advice when it comes to playing online roulette is deciding how much money you want to risk and what your expected rate of return is. First you should decide how much money you want to bet on each spin. For budgeting purposes, assume that you will lose every time, even though you (hopefully) won’t. Then you need to decide what kinds of bets you want to make.
Do you want the best chance of making money? Do you want to try to win a lot of money? Those are two completely different things. Bets with better odds of paying out give you a better chance of winning money, but those bets don’t have big payouts. The big payouts, on the other hand, are not as likely to happen, so if you are trying for those you are accepting that you are less likely to make money playing roulette. There are a number of different bets in roulette, but generally the inside bets have worse odds and better payouts and the oustside bets have better odds and lower payouts.

Roulette is one of the most popular casino games because of its rich history and the chances to earn big money. It is a game of chance, which means that you cannot affect the outcome of the game. The game also has a relatively high house edge, with a 2.70% house advantage for single-zero roulette and a 5.26% house edge for double-zero roulette.
Though it is a game of chance with a house edge that is high compared to blackjack (0.5%), there are things you can do to take more control of your bankroll. The most obvious decision you have when playing roulette in a casino is whether to place an inside bet or an outside bet.
Inside bets have the lowest odds of occurring. For example, placing a bet on a single number or on a split (two adjoining numbers) is an inside bet. To make up for the low occurrence, though, inside bets have considerably better payouts than outside bets. A straight up bet, for example, pays 35 to 1.
Outside bets have better odds of occurring, so they are safer bets than inside bets. The downside is that they don’t pay as well when they win. For example, a bet on black only pays even money (1 to 1) when it wins.
Gambling on casino games is about balancing risk versus reward. The inside bets have the biggest reward but also the highest risk. The outside bets have lower risk but also lower reward. Players should take their bankroll and their goals for the game into consideration when playing roulette. If you’re just going to play a few spins in the hopes of making money, it would be best to choose a high-paying inside bet. If you want to play for longer and decrease the risk, it might be a better idea to play outside bets.

The two most iconic casino table games are roulette and blackjack. Each has its own charm and its own benefits. Roulette fans need to know how the game compares to blackjack and which is a better way to spend their money.
If you go by the simplest measurement of the odds of a game, the house edge, blackjack clearly wins. By utilizing basic strategy, you can reduce the house edge in blackjack to as low as 0.5%. With roulette, the house edge is 5.26% for American roulette and 2.70% for European roulette. Put that simply, it is definitely a better deal to play blackjack online.
That only tells part of the story, though. Part of roulette’s appeal is its potential for high payouts. The best payout in blackjack is 3 to 2 for a natural blackjack, which is when you have a hand of 21 with your first two cards. With roulette, the best payout is 35 to 1. Other big payouts in roulette are 17 to 1, 11 to 1, 8 to 1, 6 to 1, 5 to 1 and 2 to 1. All of those are better than the best payout in blackjack.
What makes the house edge so much better for blackjack is the probability. Betting on a single number may pay out 35 to 1, but there are 37 to 1 odds against that outcome happening. Bets with lower payouts, such as betting on the second dozen, have much better odds. In that case, the bet pays 2 to 1 and has only 2.167 to 1 odds against happening.
One of the best things about roulette is that you are given the choice of how much risk you get to take. You can take a safer bet, like in blackjack, or play for a bigger payout, like with slots. If you aren’t comfortable with a bigger risk like playing for a single number but want a better payout than betting on a color, there are a number of bets in between the two extremes that you can take. That betting range distinguishes roulette from strategy games like blackjack and other games of chance, like slots.

Albert Einstein once said that “the only way to beat roulette is to steal the money when the dealer’s not looking.” That’s not exactly high praise for a game. I think we all know that the odds for roulette aren’t great. People keep playing because despite the odds against it, there is a real chance for a big win. You can bet a small amount and then walk away with a lot of money after a single spin. There is the appeal of roulette.
If roulette was some sort of a scam, you would have found some major story on it all over www.cnn.com. The truth is that roulette is no scam. The house advantage is high, but there is no attempt to hide that. Those who play roulette do so knowing that the odds favor the house but that big wins are possible every time the wheel is spun.
Every bet in American roulette except for one has a house edge of 5.26% (1/19). The other bet, on the first five numbers (0,00,1,2,3) has a 7.89% house edge. The house edge is made by the presence of the 0 and 00 and by the fact that the payout is less than the odds against winning. For example, betting on a single number has a 35 to 1 payout, which is good, but there are 37 to 1 odds against that occurring.
The same is the case for every other bet, down to the safest bet. Betting on either red, black, 1 to 18 or 19 to 36 has the best odds of occurring. There are only 1.111 to 1 odds against that happening. However, because the payout is only 1 to 1, that means in the long run you will still lose money. It is important to keep in mind that no betting system will change the odds of roulette. Roulette is a random game of chance, which is both its appeal and its downside.

With roulette games at brick and mortar casinos, the outcome of the game is based on the spin. The roulette wheel is spun and the ball dropped and the centrifugal force makes the ball land in one of the pockets. Wherever the ball is when the wheel stops spinning determines the outcome.
With online roulette, things are a little different. Since there is no physical wheel to spin, it is done with a computer program. That’s where the random number generator comes in. As is stated on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Random_number_generation, a random number generator is a computer program that creates a sequence of numbers that lack any pattern. With a roulette RNG, the program generates hundreds of number combinations every second. The precise combination that is generated when you press the spin button determines the outcome of the spin.
Because of the random number generator, all spins are independent of the last, so it does no good to track numbers and try to tell when a number is hot or due. It also means that no betting strategy will change the odds of the game, no matter how many strategies you see being sold on the Internet.
The random number generator may prevent you from manipulating the game of roulette, but it also keeps it consistent. The RNG ensures that the game sticks to the programmed payout rate, meaning in the long run, you will receive payouts and lose money at a rate that is consistent with the house edge of that game. The random number generator keeps the game fair and consistent, which is a good thing for everyone.

There are a lot of advantages of playing roulette online rather than in a brick and mortar casino. It is more convenient, has less distractions and there are fewer peripheral costs (traveling, lodging, dinner, drinks, etc.). However, when it comes to playing the game itself, playing online takes away one of the few advantages you can gain in the casino: Noticing a biased wheel.
With online roulette, the outcome of each spin is controlled by a random number generator. That is a computer program that generates hundreds of outcomes each second and the outcome of the spin is determined by precisely when the spin takes place. At brick and mortar casinos, though, the outcome is determined the old fashioned way: A wheel is spun and a ball dropped.
In theory, the spinning of the wheel makes each outcome random based on when the ball is dropped. However, sometimes a biased wheel will come into play. A biased wheel is simply a wheel where a certain number comes up more often than it should from a statistical standpoint. The most common reason for a biased wheel (aside from cheating) is from the wheel being tilted or warped slightly. However, roulette wheels at casinos are routinely checked to make sure they are not biased. However, in a smaller casino or perhaps even an unregulated casino somewhere, you might have better luck of finding one.
They way to check for a biased wheel is simply to track every number that comes up and see if one is coming up more often than it should. You don’t even have to be sneaky about it. The casino will let you write down the outcome of every spin. Some even hand out cards for that purpose.
Biased wheels are uncommon, though, especially in tightly regulated casino markets like Las Vegas or Macau. In the end, the game of roulette is still a game of chance, and your best odds are simply to play the bets that pay the best.

There is a relatively new roulette game that is becoming popular at online casinos. It is a speed version of the live dealer casino game. In the speed roulette games, players get the benefits of live dealer games but without the drawbacks.
A lot of people like live dealer roulette games because they like being able to see and interact with a real dealer. Instead of a computer program controlling everything, you have a real dealer just like in a brick and mortar casino. That makes the game of roulette more interactive and appealing to social gamers. However, there is a problem that comes with it. The games are slower. Because you and other players are playing in real time, the game goes slower because you have to wait for the other internet gamblers to place their wagers. With regular online roulette, other players can’t hold you up, because it is essentially you and the random number generator. With live dealer games, though, multiple players are at a single roulette table, sharing a dealer.
Because of complaints about the speed of the game, some online casinos have instituted faster versions of the live dealer games. One example is Slingshot Roulette, which can be played at Paddy Power casino. It is a live dealer game that has a time limit. Players must place their bets quickly. Once the time is up, the wheel begins spinning, whether you have placed your bets or not. The fast pace of the game makes it more enjoyable to people who don’t like the deliberate pace of many live dealer roulette games. Hopefully, speed roulette games will spread to more casinos.
