• Roulette systems

Systems for playing roulette have been around nearly as long as the game itself. Many developed systems in ancient times in an attempt to create a better and more likely winning strategy. There are nearly as many systems as there are players of the game, and no matter how you slice it there is no system regardless of how perfect it may seem that will give you an advantage over the house. Ever! That is a mathematical fact!

On the other side of that equation is the fact that there is not a system that exists that will decrease the odds of your winning either, so if you have a system that works for you then go for it, or develop your own for that matter, but don’t ever make the mistake that most choose to make. Whichever system you decide is the best for you to use, never convince yourself that your “system” for playing roulette will take you from a losing player of the game to a winning one. The odds are what they are, and winning and losing will continue to go on with or without a system.

Lets deal with the Cancellation system first. You will write down a group or series of numbers and then total them up to see what your goal is to win for that particular bet. So if you have 1,1,1 and then you add them all together, you get a sum of 3, and lets say you are betting at a $10 table. Your goal to win would be $10 x 3 ( the total of your sum). Then you systematically cross off numbers on each end and then continue to bet the total of the two numbers that are still in play.

If by chance you win, you will mark down the numbers that you used to bet and then bet the sum of the new numbers. Sound a bit confusing? Let’s face it, it won’t take too many losses doing things this way before you reach your maximum bet and can’t proceed placing any further bets.

There is the d’Alembert system which is unusually popular too. In using this approach, you assume once you have won you are much less likely to win a second time and so you remove a chip from your bet. It also assumes that you are less likely to suffer another loss after already losing on a spin and so you would automatically add another chip to your next bet.

However the Martingale is the most widely used system that exists, and there are many different additions and variations to this system. It is a progressive betting concept. So if you are at a 5 dollar table and you bet 5 dollars, then you would bet 10, then 20, then 40, then 80 and then 160 dollars, and so on all the way up to the maximum. The likelihood of being able to recover from subsequent losses of that nature is slim to none.

Depending upon how desperate one is to seek after a way to perfect their winning streak there are all kinds of systems that you can implement into your game. What works for one won’t work for another because the game is not fool proof. The odds don’t lie and they can’t be fooled. Ultimately if you are playing the game to beat it, you may just end up finding out that it really beat you! Experiment with roulette, or play it as a die hard seasoned winner, but if you can’t afford to lose the money you are playing with, then don’t get caught up in a game where it’s no longer just a game. There’s no system that can fix that once you’ve passed the point of no return!
